Sneak Preview of Film 'Edens Lost & Found: Chicago' at Millennium Park Celebrates Chicago's Pioneers in Urban Environmentalism

Free public event showcases Chicago's environmental successes that will be broadcast nationally as part of major PBS series this winter

CHICAGO, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- WHAT: Chicago is one of four cities in America profiled in Edens Lost and Found, a national PBS series airing this winter. The program examines our shifting urban priorities and focuses on an integrated approach to the renewal of our urban communities through improved urban forestry, public transportation, open space planning, sustainable landscape design, green building practices, watershed management, recycling and more efficient waste management.

This one-hour portion of the program, which includes the story of Millennium Park, highlights Chicago stories of urban rebirth through the eyes of experts and committed citizens who are making a difference. This free public screening is a celebration of the improvement in Chicago's urban environment and an inspiration for continuing progress.
