America's Sin City Hosts Columbia Pictures' Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo

America's Sin City Hosts Columbia Pictures' Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo

Palms Casino Resort & Maloof Productions Host August 6 Premiere of Rob Schneider Comedy

LAS VEGAS, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Las Vegas may not be as big a "Sin City" as Amsterdam, but the Palms Casino Resort and Maloof Productions will pay homage to the lustful Dutch capital by hosting the premiere of the Columbia Pictures' comedy Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo starring Rob Schneider and Eddie Griffin -- which is set in Amsterdam.

The exclusive event takes place at Brenden Theatres at the Palms on Saturday, August 6. Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo debuts nationwide on August 12.

Reprising his role from the 1999 hit Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Schneider's character is seduced back to his unlikely pleasure-for-pay profession, when his former pimp T.J. Hicks (Eddie Griffin) is implicated in the murders of Europe's greatest gigolos. Deuce must go back to work in order to clear his good friend's name. Along the way, he must compete against the powerful European Union of prosti-dudes and court another bevy of abnormal female clients including the beautiful Eva (Hanna Verboom), who suffers from acute obsessive-compulsive disorder.

"It's a pleasure to roll out the red carpet for Rob Schneider and Columbia Pictures," stated George Maloof, owner of the Palms Casino Resort, who will serve as host of the premiere. "The Palms Casino Resort is the perfect location for the premiere as it is the preferred Las Vegas destination of young Hollywood."

The exclusive event starts at 7:00 pm with the red carpet celebrity arrival, including stars Rob Schneider, Eddie Griffin and Hanna Verboom. Others attending will include the Maloof family, Johnny Brenden and the beautiful Palms Girls. At approximately 8:00 p.m. the film will premiere in Brenden Theatres. Following the screening, an exclusive after-party will begin at 10:00 p.m. The Palms will release a limited edition $5 DEUCE BIGALOW: EUROPEAN GIGOLO Commemorative Casino Chip beginning Friday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m.
