NEW YORK, June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Katie Holmes, who stars in one of the summer's blockbuster films "Batman Begins," which opens this week, headlines in Abandon, a network television premiere airing Tuesday, June 28 at 9PM (ET/PT) on Lifetime Television.

In Abandon, which also stars Benjamin Bratt ("Law & Order"), Holmes plays 'Katie Burke,' an overworked college senior who must deal with a determined police officer (Bratt) who is investigating the disappearance of Katie's old boyfriend two years ago. As the investigation continues, Katie must confront past memories as she tries to complete her thesis and find a job.
