Starz Entertainment Group Announces Promotions in Finance Group, Addition in Human Resources

Brian Huggins and Joe Zamora Upped and Dale Fleddermann Joins SEG

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) announced today the promotion of Brian Huggins to director of strategic planning and Joe Zamora to director of strategic planning. Dale Fleddermann has joined SEG as director of human resources systems and compliance. All three will work out of the corporate headquarters in Englewood, Colo.

Brian Huggins has been promoted to director, strategic planning from senior manager, market intelligence. In this new position he will oversee the market intelligence, point of sales (POS) and sales communication analysis team. Huggins will continue to provide financial and business decision support to senior management, the POS team, sales communications, strategic planning and advanced services departments. He will report to Linda Brauns, vice president of strategic planning, and will continue to provide market intelligence information on topics including industry trends, competitor activities and industry impacting technologies.

Huggins came to SEG in 2000 from a dot-com start-up MakeTheMove.com, where he was in charge of analysis for the finance and marketing departments, and researched competitive activities and consumer behaviors. A graduate of Colorado State University with a BA in marketing, and a Masters in finance from University of Colorado, Brian hails form Omaha, Neb., and currently resides in Parker, Colo. with his wife Michelle.

Joe Zamora has been promoted to director, strategic planning from senior manager, strategic planning. In his new position he will oversee financial analysis and planning, as well as decision support for the SEG programming department and satellite affiliates. Zamora will also be responsible for long range planning which includes subscriber and revenue projections and programming cost projections. He will oversee financial reporting for SEG and will report to Linda Brauns.

Zamora came to SEG in 1998 from GE Capital where he completed GE Capital's Financial Management Program. He has a BS in business/administration from University of Colorado at Boulder, and currently resides in Thornton with his wife Angela, and their three children.

Dale Fleddermann has joined the human resources team as director, human resources systems and compliance where he will act as a systems liaison between all functional components within the HR department. In this position, Fleddermann will oversee the development, implementation, maintenance and the integrity of technology solutions that best meet the informational needs of the department. He will report to Katie Miles-Ley, vice president, human resources and organizational development, and will be in charge of managing compliance issues as they relate to the records management policy.

Fleddermann comes to SEG from The Solae Company where he served as director of human resources information systems and as the IT liaison to senior management and the human resource department. A St. Louis, Mo. native, Fleddermann has a BS in computer science from University of Missouri and a Masters in information management from the Washington University in St. Louis.
