On sale May 5, the GLOBE responds to vehement denials from Abdul's camp on Clark's alleged claims that he had a relationship with Abdul while a contestant by giving both camps a chance to tell the truth; GLOBE will arrange for Abdul and Clark to be tested by a board certified polygraph expert for which it will pay and print the results.
"All eyes are on Corey and Paula right now," says GLOBE Editor-in-Chief Candace Trunzo. "They owe it to American Idol fans to settle this thing once and for all. We invite both of them to sit down and take a lie detector test. We'll let our readers judge who is telling the truth on American Idol."
The claims first became public as Clark was shopping around a book proposal on his relationship with Abdul, which GLOBE reported exclusively in its May 2 issue.
The new issue of GLOBE will hit newsstands on May 5.
