Scripps Board Increases Dividend

CINCINNATI, April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of The E. W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP) today approved a 10 percent increase in its dividend to shareholders.

The board authorized an increase in the company's quarterly dividend from 10 cents ($0.10) to 11 cents ($0.11) per share. The dividend is payable June 10 to shareholders of record at the close of business May 31.
