Cassie Thomas Named Vice President, Human Resources, Paramount Television

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Cassie Thomas has been named Vice President, Human Resources for Paramount Television. The announcement was made today by Tony Ambrosio, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, CBS, to whom she reports.

A seven-year Paramount veteran with more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Thomas will be responsible for all television Human Resources matters, including network, domestic and international. Prior to this appointment, Thomas had been responsible for employee relations and recruitment for Paramount Pictures since 1998.

Previously, Thomas was employed by DreamWorks, where she created policies and procedures and handled recruitment for its Human Resources department during the company's start-up days. She also worked with outside consultants as she designed and implemented benefit plans.

Prior to DreamWorks, Thomas spent 10 years with Universal Studios, where she served as Director, Human Resources and worked with all levels of management on issues involving employee relations. In addition, Thomas worked with senior management in the areas of Organizational Development, Administration and Performance Management. She also worked closely with Labor Relations while she was involved in many union negotiations.

Before her career in Human Resources, Thomas was employed as an Assistant Business Agent with OPEIU, Office Professional Entertainment Industry Union. She first got her start in the entertainment industry at MGM Studios working in post production.
