NEWSWEEK: Newsweek On Air Now Available on Podcast
NEW YORK, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Newsweek's weekly radio program, Newsweek On Air, is now available on podcast, the new technology that allows users to subscribe for free to their favorite on-line radio shows. And within the first two weeks of its availability on the Web, Newsweek On Air was voted #1 in world news at Podcast Alley, a Web site for those seeing podcasts to download.

Newsweek On Air is an award-winning, radio magazine covering major news events, topical issues, entertainment and trends with the resources of Newsweek magazine. Since 1982, the hour-long weekend broadcast has previewed exclusive reporting from each new Monday issue of Newsweek, presenting interviews with Newsweek correspondents and top newsmakers from Henry Kissinger to Donald Trump, Katharine Hepburn to Hillary Clinton. It has been hosted from the start by David Alpern, Newsweek On Air, contributing editor/Newsweek.
And beginning June 1, 2005, Newsweek On Air will be co-produced by Jones Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Jones Media Group(TM).
