NEW YORK, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- In the late 80s Taylor Dayne was a pop icon, selling nearly 10 million records driven by 10 top ten singles including "Tell It to My Heart" and "I'll Always Love You" which were heard on radio stations and seen on music channels around the world. Now it is 2005 and Taylor is in need of a change so she turned to VH1 for help.

Throughout the hour-long special, "Remaking: Taylor Dayne," premiering Thursday, April 21 at 10PM* viewers will witness Taylor's transformation from an 80s pop star to a modern day mega-star in time to perform her new single "Right Now" live on national TV during ABC's "The View."
