WOW! Adds Bridges TV to Cable Television Lineup in Michigan

New English Language Network for American Muslims Launching March 16th

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- WOW! Cable, a provider of cable television, Internet and phone services, announced today that Bridges TV, the first network targeted at American Muslims, will be offered as a premium channel on WOW!'s digital cable system serving Southeast Michigan.

Bridges TV is an English language network that focuses on celebrating American Muslim lifestyle and culture. The new network hopes to air stories about Muslims not seen on mainstream television. Bridges TV broadcasts original daily newscasts and events in the Muslim community, as well as cartoons, family-friendly sitcoms and movies about Muslim life. The network is the first of its kind in English aimed at the more than seven million Muslims in America, one of the fastest-growing demographics in the country.
