Nancy Wolpert, Lisa Silverman Meyers Named Vice Presidents, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products

NEW YORK, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Nancy Wolpert and Lisa Silverman Meyers have been named Vice President, Home Video/DVD, and Vice President, Strategic Planning and Marketing Services, respectively, of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products. The announcement was made today by Leigh Anne Brodsky, President, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products.

Promoted from Senior Director, Home Video/DVD, Wolpert manages the Nickelodeon Networks' Home Video/DVD businesses which currently include Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Comedy Central and Spike TV properties. She will continue to manage the development of all titles, including consumer advertising, promotions as well as packaging. She serves as the day-to-day contact with distribution partners and, additionally, integrates Home Video/DVD marketing efforts into broader network initiatives. She will continue to report to Stephen Youngwood, Senior Vice President, Media Products.

Previously, Wolpert was Director, Retail Marketing, Nickelodeon Consumer Products, where she directed retail strategy development and helped to drive multi-billion dollar Nickelodeon licensed product sales at some of the nation's largest retailers. Her responsibilities included developing positive action relationships with retail partners across all classes of trade including Mass and Drug, and creating and selling-in direct customized promotional programs to retailers. Prior to Nickelodeon, Wolpert held positions in marketing at Revlon, Clairol and The Walt Disney Company. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

In her new role, Silverman Meyers will be responsible for worldwide planning for all properties in the Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products portfolio, including those from Nickelodeon, Paramount Motion Pictures and Television, Comedy Central and Spike, among others. In addition, she will head up the Marketing Services group, creating marketing and brand development assets and materials for the Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products organization worldwide. She will report to Jim Davey, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Planning.

For the last three years, she was the Director of eCommerce and Business Development for Nickelodeon Online, where she managed the shops for Nick.com and NickJr.com, as well as their paid downloadable games businesses. Previously, she held a similar position at Bolt.com, one of the top websites for teens. Prior to this, she held positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Loving & Weintraub, a New York PR/Marketing firm specializing in the fashion industry. Silverman Meyers holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
