Starz Entertainment Group Promotes Peter Roberts and Rebecca Lim for Starz! Ticket in Advanced Services Group
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) SVP, advanced services, Bob Greene announced the promotions of Peter Roberts to the newly created position of general manager, advanced services and Rebecca Lim to senior director, advanced services. Roberts, previously senior director, advanced services, and Lim, previously director of interactive television technology, will be prominent contributors to the growth of the company's nascent, broadband-delivered subscription movies download service, STARZ! Ticket on Real Movies.
Roberts will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of STARZ! Ticket and will play a key managerial support role in evaluating growth opportunities for the service. Lim will play a lead role designing and implementing technology infrastructural upgrades and crafting new user interface designs and improvements. Lim will report to Roberts, while Roberts will report directly to Greene.

Prior to joining SEG in 2002, Roberts was a senior manager with Accenture's strategy practice where he focused on revenue growth plans for telco and cable companies. Roberts also worked previously at Tribal Voice, an instant messaging software company owned by CMGI and at AT&T Broadband where he was responsible for AT&T@Home's customer and revenue goals. Roberts started his career at SEG in 1993 serving in analyst, consumer marketing and affiliate sales roles.
Lim joined Starz Entertainment Group from the Chosun Group, a consulting firm that she co-founded, in September 2002. A 25-year media technology veteran, Lim plays a key role in SEG's iTV initiatives on the OpenCable platform and has been a major contributor for the Cable & Telecommunications Association of Marketing's (CTAM's) On Demand Consortium work on developing standards for on-demand user interface design and product enhancements. Lim also held positions previously at AT&T Broadband, TCI Technology Ventures, and TCI International.
Roberts is a native of Birmingham, Mich. and received his MBA from the University of Colorado and his BA from Miami University. He and his wife, Shannon, have two children, Madeline and Sybil.
Lim is a native of Kansas City, Mo. and graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri, School of Journalism. She and her husband, Nick, have three children, Marie, Xander, and Olivia.
STARZ! Ticket on Real Movies gives subscribers access to a rotating library of over 150 premium, major motion pictures for only $12.95 per month. Unlike pay-per-view services, STARZ!
