Detroit Music and Beyond Highlighted at Motor City Music Conference
DETROIT, March 23/PRNewswire/ -- The Motor City Music Conference (MC2) is April 20-24, 2005 in downtown Detroit. MC2 will bring music industry professionals, musicians, and music fans together for showcasing, networking, career development, media exposure and promotional opportunities. Over 450 acts from around the world will showcase in 50 Detroit venues over four nights. Cobo Center will house the music and lifestyle tradeshow including over 100 exhibits from indie labels to retailers. Detroit News and Axis Music will host their "School of Rock" to give free guitar, drum and DJ lessons. MC2 will also feature the Verizon Wireless demo listening lounge, songwriting and production workshops for artists, as well as industry panel discussions led by well-known artists, label reps, managers, producers, booking agents and radio programmers. Grammy award winning producer Don Was is MC2's keynote speaker.
