Target, K-Mart, Toys R Us and Others Currently Offer the Trivia Card Packs; Early Orders Are in for Upcoming Buzztime(R) Plug-and-Play Home Trivia System

CHICAGO and CARLSBAD, Calif., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Cadaco, America's oldest independent game and toy company, and Buzztime Entertainment, Inc., the Play-Along Television(TM) community and a subsidiary of NTN Communications, Inc. (AMEX:NTN), jointly announce the availability of the Buzztime(R) Trivia Card Packs in U.S. retailers. Distribution deals with Target, Kmart, Toys 'R' Us, and others place the Buzztime trivia brand in thousands of retail outlets nationwide this month.

The easy-to-carry and use Buzztime Trivia Card Packs are available in four different categories -- Everything Trivia, TV Trivia, History Trivia and Sports Trivia -- and retail for $5.99 each.

The Trivia Card packs are being distributed in advance of this summer's introduction of The Buzztime Home Trivia System, an electronic plug-and-play game console which connects directly to the television set in the home.

"Retailers are all 'abuzz' about the Buzztime Trivia Card Packs! This introduction will create millions of new impressions for Buzztime leading up to the launch of the Buzztime Home Trivia System," said John Lindsay, president, Cadaco.

Cadaco licensed the Buzztime brand, games and trivia content to create the Buzztime Trivia Card Packs and the Buzztime Home Trivia System under an October 2005 agreement. Cadaco expects to have the first units of the Buzztime Home Trivia System in national retailers later this summer. Early sales orders are in from Kmart, Toys R Us, Best Buy, Borders and others. Under the terms of the licensing agreement, Buzztime Entertainment receives a royalty for all products sold into retail.

The Buzztime Trivia Card Packs feature over 200 questions in every pack. The questions and multiple choice answers are on each card front with the correct answer and Buzztime "fun fact" on the reverse side of the card. The Card Packs include instructions for several variations on game play. Each Buzztime Trivia Card Pack has a suggested retail price of $5.99.

The Buzztime Home Trivia System features a plug-and-play game console which connects directly to the television set in the home. Using battery-operated game controllers, players interact with the system and stage in-home trivia competitions. Game play follows Buzztime's unique quiz show format popularized by the in-home Buzztime Channel game play on digital cable and satellite, and on the NTN iTV Network, which is played in over 3,600 restaurants and sports bars in North America. The companies will advertise the Buzztime Home Trivia System launch by using the NTN iTV Network's unique captive reach to promote its availability in each of the national outlets.

Cadaco's Buzztime Home Trivia System (suggested retail price $59.99) includes 750 fun and challenging trivia questions and wireless battery-operated controllers. Two wireless controllers are provided with the game console and up to six more may be added, allowing up to eight players to compete at a time. Additional trivia content cartridges will be available for a suggested retail price of $14.99 so the players can expand the quantity and categories of trivia questions available for game play.
