The Detroit Press Club Foundation's 2005 International Wheel Awards to be Presented April 7

Automotive Hall of Fame Hosts Prestigious Journalism Awards Program

DETROIT, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Detroit Press Club Foundation will present the prestigious International Wheel Awards for 2005 during an evening reception and ceremony on Thursday, April 7, at the Automotive Hall of Fame (AHF) in Dearborn, Michigan.

The coveted Golden Wheel award will be presented, as well as with thirteen first-place trophies and eighteen plaques for 2nd and 3rd place winners in various categories. Including honorable mention accolades, forty-one works will be honored. Award categories for newspaper, magazine and Internet media outlets include: Best News Story, Best Editorial or Column, Best Product Review/Evaluation, and Best Photography. Television and radio awards are given for Best News Programming and Best Documentary.

The Individual Communicators Network (ICN), a not-for-profit association of independent business communicators, is managing the awards for the third year. The International Wheel Awards are generously supported by a variety of donors from the automobile industry.
