RCN will launch MegaModem Mach 10(SM) across all markets by February 28, 2004. This is the third time in the past 18 months RCN has rewarded its customers by automatically upgrading their modem speeds at no additional cost. Customers with MegaModem Mach 7(SM), RCN's 7 mbps service, will be automatically upgraded to MegaModem Mach 10. Customers with MegaModem Mach 5, RCN's 5 mbps service, will be automatically upgraded to MegaModem Mach 7 for free. MegaModem Mach 10 is more than twice as fast as other cable modem services and more than six times faster than the leading DSL services.
