CSC Names Charlie Whelan President of Canadian Operations EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC) announced today that Charlie Whelan has been named president of CSC's Canadian operations. Whelan reports to Tony Doye, president of CSC's Technology Management Group (TMG), and replaces John Biggs, who now serves as vice president for CSC's America's Business Development organization. Biggs reports to Richard Ricks, president, America's Business Development. Previously, Whelan served as managing director for CSC's Canadian Operations. In this role, he was responsible for the Canadian Public Sector, including business development and service delivery for all systems integration, information technology (IT) consulting and engineering logistics services. "Charlie's extensive knowledge and experience in the Canadian IT market make him an ideal candidate for this position," said Doye. "Canada continues to be a strategic market for CSC, and Charlie's knowledge of the market will help us continue to grow in this region." CSC has approximately 1,600 employees in 19 locations across Canada, most notably Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Calgary. Clients served by CSC's Canadian operations include Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC), Nortel, General Dynamics, DuPont, General Motors Locomotive Group and the government of Canada.
