Davis Cup Duo, the Bryan Brothers, to Headline Third Annual Monaco Holiday Pro-Am December 10 & 11 at Colorado Athletic Club Monaco DENVER, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorado Athletic Club Monaco will host its third annual Holiday Pro-Am on December 10 and 11, 2004. American Davis Cup and Olympic stars, the world famous Bryan Brothers, will headline the event which will also feature Denver's own ATP players, Jeff Salzenstein and Chad Harris, and close to 40 tennis professionals. This event will benefit The Children's Hospital as well as the Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation. "The Colorado tennis community is thrilled about bringing in Bob and Mike Bryan," says Colorado Athletic Club Monaco Director of Tennis, Andy Zodin. "They ended 2003 as the #1 ranked doubles team in the world. They will be playing versus Spain for the Davis Cup championship just one week prior to our event. Catch the Bryan Brothers playing the doubles spot for the United States on ESPN on Saturday, December 4." The Monaco Holiday Pro-Am offers a full weekend of great tennis and fun for tennis players of all ages and levels. Friday night features an evening of high-energy, tennis manufacturer-sponsored drills and games for adults and juniors, with all of the pros involved. There will also be collectible auction items, autographs, photos, and lots of giveaways following the drills. Saturday will be a full day of pro-am play, which will showcase the Bob and Mike Bryan, and other pros playing in with many of Colorado's top adult and junior players in a competitive format. The main event will be Saturday night at 7 p.m., a team-tennis format that will have Salzenstein/Harris (Denver's team) trying to defend the home court against America's Team, the Bryan Brothers.
