Amusement Business and Sweden's Liseberg Theme Park Name The World's Top Amusement Park For General Excellence Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana Wins Prestigious Applause Award at the International Assn. of Amusement Parks & Attractions Convention and Trade Show in Orlando LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Industry trade publication Amusement Business and Liseberg Theme Park in Gothenburg, Sweden named Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana, the winner of the Applause Award, which recognizes singular excellence in the amusement industry worldwide. The award was presented during a ceremony at the annual International Assn. of Amusement Parks & Attractions Convention and Trade Show in Orlando. The biannual Applause Award is given to a park or attraction whose management, operations and creative accomplishments have inspired the industry with its foresight, originality and sound business development.
