New project will enrich and present more than one million significant Canadian and international objects to the public

A unique cultural institution with a global multilingual audience, the Cinematheque
quebecoise has collected and preserved films, videos, television programs and new media
works for half a century. With Adlib, the institution's invaluable collection is set to be
enriched by a solution that ties together the one million objects in its archives, library
and museum.

The Cinematheque quebecoise required a flexible solution to address its multilingual

cataloguing standards such as FRBR and leading European cataloguing standards EN15907.



After careful consideration the Cinematheque quebecoise selected Axiell's Adlib, a
solution that is already used by many prestigious film organizations. Axiell's experience

implement solutions rapidly will be leveraged by the Cinematheque quebecoise.
