TORONTO, May 7, 2015 /CNW/ - CraveTV(TM) is the first Canadian streaming service to be compatible with Google Chromecast, it was announced today. The launch of CraveTV on Chromecast is the latest in a series of platform releases for CraveTV. Canadians can now cast CraveTV's entire library of premium television programming onto their TVs from iOS and Android apps. Chromecast, a thumb-sized device, is plugged into HDMI ports on TVs, allowing viewers to seamlessly pause, play, rewind, and fast-forward their favourite CraveTV series from their mobile device, as well from www.CraveTV.ca in the Chrome browser.
As announced earlier this year, CTV GO became the first TVE product from a Canadian broadcaster to work with Google Chromecast. CraveTV is the next service with Chromecast functionality, with more Bell Media digital brands to become compatible with Chromecast in the future.
