NEW YORK, May 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A brand new episode of the ABC 7's successful television series, "Discover Beijing," returns this Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, allowing U.S. viewers to discover the global transformation of the Chinese political and cultural capital-Beijing, China.

'A Modern City in Motion,' the third episode that follows on the break out success of the previous two, captures the changes and growth that have taken place in Beijing in recent years. "Discover Beijing III: A Modern City in Motion,"will be broadcast on the heels of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Beijing and New York City.

The latest episode focuses on the transition of Beijing to an international city complete with modern transportation and a changing architectural landscape as well as a melting pot of diverse cultures, cuisines, art, shopping and nightlife. Yet, as viewers will see, Beijing's history remains preserved especially through ancient foods and cultural norms, including traditional Chinese medicine.

The 'Discover Beijing' series is an essential travel guide for anyone who wants to explore and appreciate this amazing city of 23 million through the eyes of locals as well as expatriates like former NBA Star Stephon Marbury, who now call the city home.
