Studio Center Brings Barbasol to Virginia Beach for National TV Commercials

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Sept. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Studio Center just wrapped a 3-day film shoot in Virginia Beach for Barbasol; America's #1 men's shave cream brand and Pure Silk for women.

Studio Center's production team, including David Fry (Producer) and Chris Karvellas (Director of Photography), shot four commercials for Barbasol and Pure Silk's upcoming National Campaign. Virginia Beach native Derrick Borte, writer and director of "The Jones", directed the spots.

The commercials were filmed in various locations throughout the city, including Town Center and Sandbridge. Studio Center will be doing the audio and video post-production at its Virginia Beach Headquarters. The commercials feature 10 actors from Studio Center's On-Camera roster, the following of whom reside In Virginia Beach: Tommy Coleman, Jay Gates, Angelo Reyes, Ryan Adcock, Tom Miller and Ashley Ward.
