Concerts at Maryhill Winery Headline Summer in the Gorge

The popular outdoor amphitheater brings three sell-out artists to the Columbia River Gorge in 2014: Styx and Foreigner, Peter Frampton and Buddy Guy, and Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull

GOLDENDALE, Wash., July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With the summer season officially underway, tickets to the 2014 concerts at Maryhill Winery & Amphitheater are on sale now through Ticketfly at www.maryhillwinery.com/amphitheater. The first of the three chart-topping performances, Styx and Foreigner on Saturday, Aug. 2, is nearly sold out, and the following shows in August and September are selling quickly to fans of good music, award-winning wines and breathtaking outdoor scenery.

Recent Hall of Fame inductee Peter Frampton will be taking over the Maryhill Winery stage on Saturday, Aug. 23. On the billing lineup for the show, appropriately named, "Frampton's Guitar Circus," friend, fellow Hall of Famer and celebrated guitarist, Buddy Guy, will join Frampton for an epic evening of music. Frampton will be playing a mix of his past hits and songs from his latest album, "Hummingbird in a Box," which was inspired by his collaboration with the Cincinnati Ballet. The two Grammy-winning artists and guitar heroes will also share the stage to blend their signature rock and R&B styles, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Columbia River Gorge.

Just three weeks later, on Saturday, Sept. 13, fans of Jethro Tull will be treated to a knockout set list of favorite Tull songs, performed by Ian Anderson and other original members of the band. Maryhill Winery is set to start the show at 8 p.m., an hour later than the other two concerts, to ensure the sky is inky black for the spectacular video and LED light show accompanying the music experience. With a huge cinema-quality screen and synchronized moving lights in the background, Anderson will play two sets for this electric performance. The first will be from his newly released and critically-acclaimed album, "Homo Erraticus," and the second set will include all the Jethro Tull classics from his time as the band's legendary front man.

Tickets for general admission and VIP prices for the concerts range from $44 to $225, with more artist information and concert FAQ available at www.maryhillwinery.com:
