NEW YORK, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Weekly financial television series Consuelo Mack WealthTrack presents "Women's Financial Future" as its Season 11 premiere nationwide on public television beginning Friday, June 27 at 7:30 p.m. (check local listings). "WealthTrack is here to empower women to overcome their financial fears and challenges and reach their financial goals," said Executive Producer and anchor Consuelo Mack. "The financial advisors featured on WealthTrack Women have had direct experience seeing clients through life situations such as divorce, being a single mom, business ownership, being in a committed lesbian relationship and widowhood."
In "Women's Financial Future,"WealthTrack addresses the different financial challenges women face from their longer life spans and the high likelihood of being alone later in life. Mack, Griffin and Taylor explain how women can build a financial plan to fit their particular circumstances and achieve financial security. Deconstructing the much-feared "bag-lady syndrome," they provide questions to ask prospective financial advisors, strategies to manage longevity risk and more.
"We recognize that women have distinct financial circumstances and expectations, and we're excited to begin our new season addressing those in a comprehensive way both on air and online on WealthTrack.com," said Mack.
Season 11 will feature new topics such as the changed state of ethics in business and on Wall Street with leading financial historian Richard Sylla; the increasing role of alternative investments in portfolios; the search for retirement income in unlikely places; and the influence activist investors have on the markets. The series will continue to provide trustworthy, understandable advice from the best minds in the business world, including frequent rare and exclusive interviews with acknowledged "Great Investors" and "Financial Thought Leaders."
Launched in July 2005, Consuelo Mack WealthTrack remains the only program on television devoted to long-term diversified investing. An award-winning, veteran business journalist with an extensive rolodex, Mack handpicks each guest based on their professional credentials, performance and integrity to help viewers tackle economic, market and political changes, while building and protecting their wealth.
USA Today praised, "Consuelo Mack's Charlie Rose-esque interview style -- quietly intelligent, thoughtful and aimed at a well-informed audience -- suits her half-hour show." Money magazine named WealthTrack "The Best Money on TV."
