Leading Music Industry Organization Honored for Work with Gospel and Christian Artists
WASHINGTON, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SoundExchange, the independent nonprofit digital performance rights organization that collects and distributes performance royalties from satellite radio, Internet radio and cable TV channels on behalf of recording artists and labels, was honored with an Impact Award at the 44(th) annual Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove awards in Nashville, Tennessee, last week at the Collins Theatre. The Impact Award is presented to an individual or organization that is not an artist, who has made a significant contribution to the gospel music industry. SoundExchange is being recognized for its mission to support, protect and propel the music industry forward and its contribution to the Christian and gospel music community.
