Otherworldly Rockers Technikult of Flesh to Appear on CBS/TVGN's Mother of All Talent Oct. 29
Technikult of Flesh will bring their sinister, experimental sounds to the new comedy/reality show, just in time for Halloween
NEW YORK, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for the darkest, most unpredictable night of the year, the underground rock band Technikult of Flesh is poised to make a high-profile TV appearance. On Tuesday, October 29, the band will ring in All Hallows Eve a bit early, appearing on the new comedy/reality show Mother of All Talent, airing at 8:00 p.m. on CBS/TVGN.

The appearance is hardly just a run-of-the-mill TV performance, either. Technikult of Flesh will be integrated into the very premise of the show, appearing in conjunction with Tribute Talent Management to cast a few lucky young people to appear in the band's upcoming music video.
Already, much of the band's renown stems from its work in the music video medium. With such videos as "Pandemic" and "Fabrication," the dark artists have brought their own ghastly panache and shockingly original visual style to the often-pedestrian music video world. To appear in a video with Technikult of Flesh is to appear with some of the medium's most accomplished and influential artists.
Indeed, the band's stylishly dark and brooding videos take a back seat only to the music itself. TKF has made a name for itself by exploring some of the darker, harsher realities of the human condition. These bleak themes are at once belied and underscored by the group's exuberantly experimental, hypnotically dark sound, equal parts industrial, dance, and shock rock.
Indeed, not many bands can get away with tackling such topics as global overpopulation, technological blights, and our culture's toxic quest for celebrity without coming across as pretentious. However, Technikult of Flesh has excelled at marrying its devastating lyrics to music that is rich with adventure, experimentation, and genuine emotion. Not for nothing does the group's website promise that the band will defy expectations at all cost.
Presumably, the band will live up to this reputation on Mother of All Talent. The union of this band with this program is perfect, as the show itself has become celebrated for its unique perspective. The program chronicles the real-life exploits of a mother-daughter duo that have built one of the country's foremost talent agencies. Technikult of Flesh will work with the agency to seek out the best possible kids for its forthcoming video.
