Grammy Winning Vocalist Sandi Patty to Perform in Lexington, KY

LEXINGTON, Ky., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christian music's most decorated artist, Sandi Patty, is coming back to Lexington for the first time in over a decade. You're invited to join in Lexington's night of inspiration on Thursday, November 7(th) at Immanuel Baptist Church. Patty has sold over twelve million albums, has received five Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, 40 GMA Dove Awards, including female vocalist of the year eleven consecutive years. Recently inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, Patty's distinctive voice continues to be the standard on which other performers are measured.

Known as 'The Voice of Christian Music', Patty's last Lexington visit brought a near capacity crowd to Rupp Arena. "Throughout the years it has been nice to perform in arenas, but I always love coming back to the church. There is something intimate, sweet, and personal and that is my favorite place to do an inspirational concert. Always will be," states Patty.

Sandi Patty spent most of her adult life just north of the Commonwealth in Anderson, Indiana, where she raised her eight children. Now residing in Oklahoma City, OK; Patty appreciates the opportunity to perform near her home. "Lexington really does feel like a home away from home. My parents and many of my children, including my precious newborn grandbaby, live up the road in Indiana so to have the opportunity to travel and sing near my family is always special."

Patty's thirty-plus year career remains strong.
