Quality Music and Two-Way Radio Now Available for Sport Bikes and ATVs with MotoRfPlus

GARDNERVILLE, Nev., Sept. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MotoChello, manufacturer of multi-source motorcycle audio systems has released the MotoRfPlus, a portable device that combines any audio with a two-way radio interface for sport cycles and other vehicles. The MotoRfPlus processor blends audio from the connected devices so riders have both sources available without having to switch between them, meaning they can listen to music and use a two-way radio at the same time.

The MotorRfPlus is compact, does not use batteries or require bike modifications and can be placed in a tank bag or jacket pocket while riding. The unit incorporates an ultra-low powered processor and interfaces with connected devices in the same way a pair of headsets do, using a single cable to connect to the rider's headset.

MSRP is $175.00, which includes headset and connection cables making the MotoRfPlus an economical solution for riders with multiple vehicles and those that like to hear quality music and have available bike-to-bike communications when they want them. It was developed for dual sport cycles, ATV's and other vehicles where the rider wears a helmet.

Any audio device that has a speaker output for a headset can be used with the MotorRfPlus, such as a MP3 player, satellite radio, radar detector or other audio source. An audio connection cable is included and riders control music volume from the source device.

The MotoRfPlus includes MotoChello's high-fidelity helmet headset speakers for audio clarity, a microphone for radio communications, a headset connection cable, an audio connection cable, three cables to connect the rider's choice of FRS or portable CB radio (Cobra(®), Midland(®) and Motorola(®)) and an external PTT (push-to-talk) button for radio activation. An available adapter gives riders the option to use the system with a set of earphones.

MotoChello also offers the MotoRfPlus/K with a connector for a Kenwood(®) compatible UHF radio to be used instead of an FRS or CB type.

A note about Two-way Radios;

Two-way radios are preferred for riders who want to talk to several others simultaneously since they do not have to be "paired" and only require that fellow riders are on the same frequency channel, but not necessarily the same brand of equipment. They are also inexpensive, have a long range of effective communication and can be instantly accessed with a conveniently placed transmit button for talking while riding. When not riding, they function as walkie-talkies.
