Also, it is my honor to welcome one of our industry's foremost thought leaders, Craig Collins, as he joins NAMIC's distinguished board of advisors."

NAMIC's 27(th) Annual Conference will be held on October 8-9, 2013 at the New York Marriott Marquis, during CableDiversity Week. The theme for this year's conference is Vision 2043: Inclusion. Inspiration. Imagination., signifying the importance of fostering multi-ethnic diversity and inclusion in cable and telecommunications as NAMIC looks forward on the next 30 years of the shifting demographics in the U.S. population. Providing a platform for professionals at varying levels and disciplines to engage in thought-provoking presentations and interactive sessions, content inspired by the conference theme will drive dynamic, forward-thinking dialogue. Over the course of the two-day agenda, some of the most progressive and knowledgeable business leaders within the communications industry will also share their perspectives on critical issues and topics that impact the future of cable. In addition, this year's conference will feature three educational tracks focused on Business Learning, Leadership Development and Content and Imagery.

David Rone will serve as an honorary co-chair for the Annual NAMIC Conference, alongside Nancy Dubuc, president and chief executive officer of A+E Networks. Rone oversees Time Warner Cable's overall sports strategy, and all content creation and programming for the company. His purview includes Time Warner Cable's regional sports networks, Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes, which features the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Galaxy, and extensive production of behind-the-scenes programming, live sporting events and Video On Demand channels.

Additionally, Rone represents Time Warner Cable's interests in SportsNet New York, the official television home of the New York Mets, and SportsNetLA, the new regional television home for the Los Angeles Dodgers. "Time Warner Cable is committed to diversity and building an inclusive culture, which is central to delivering the highest standard of service to our customer base," said Rone. "I am excited to support the NAMIC Conference, which is an optimal forum for re-affirming our commitment."

Presented as a one-on-one discussion focused on the legacy of a leader the 27(th) Annual NAMIC Conference master class features veteran executive, Glenn Britt. Britt began serving as chairman of Time Warner Cable's Board of Directors in March of 2009. Named president and CEO in 2006, Britt served as the company's CEO since August 2001. The driving force behind the company's aggressive deployment of advanced video services, such as Video on Demand, high definition television and digital video recorders, Britt has guided the growth of Time Warner Cable's residential high-speed internet and digital phone services and Time Warner Cable Business Services. Additionally, Britt oversaw Time Warner Cable's emergence as a publicly traded company and has grown it from a $6 billion operating division into a $21 billion national, high profile business in a highly competitive industry.
