When Bands Get Intimate

When Bands Get Intimate

LONDON, August 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

Without a doubt, Reading & Leeds Festivals offer fans the opportunity to see some of
the biggest bands in the world including UK exclusive festival performances from
headliners Green Day, Biffy Clyro and Eminem. Taking place between Friday 23rd and Sunday
25th August, the festivals showcase almost 300 artists across the bank holiday weekend.

But when goCarShare [http://gocarshare.com ] launched their Sessions
[http://gocarshare.com/sessions ], they decided to go to the other extreme - creating
intimate gigs with extraordinary up and coming bands.

Whether it is 'northern Del Boys' Likely Lads playing an unplugged session in the pub
on the way to Leeds, Scottish singer songwriter Rachel Sermanni playing a beautiful in-car
set on the way to Reading, or youngsters Park Bench Society jamming en route to Reading,
it's all about intimate encounters.

Following a successful pilot, the goCarShare team's Sessions are back with new, fresh
talent all due to play the BBC Introducing Stages. This year looks set to include:

Peasant's King [http://peasantsking.bandcamp.com ], a Welsh five-piece with a powerful
anthemic style and more than a hint of Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend.

Man Can't Fly [http://www.mancantfly.com ], think intoxicating melodies, addictive
choruses fused by three piece harmonies.

Modo Stare [http://modostare.com ], an electronic/alternative hybrid project headed by
Jon Headley (musician, writer and producer) from Bradford.

Look out for the bands at the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals and
for the new goCarShare Sessions [http://www.youtube.com/user/goCarShare ] due to be
released on 28th August.
