Panel to discuss critical issues for returning veterans

What: Private Screening and Q&A with filmmakers of "The Hornet's Nest"

The Hornet's Nest follows Peabody and Emmy Award-Winning conflict Journalist
Mike Boettcher, and his son, Carlos, providing a perspective directly from
the front lines in Afghanistan. Their journey unfolds a true story of
survival for the soldiers, and of a father and son who seek to rekindle their
relationship under the most harrowing of circumstances. The documentary
captures the importance of supporting our service members while on the
battlefield and upon their return home. The Hornet's Nest also offers a
timely platform to raise awareness about the challenges many veterans and
their families face during reintegration, and through Q&A with the filmmakers
and partners Easter Seals and Dixon Center, urges audiences to find solutions
and do more to support them.



The screening will be followed by Easter Seals New York's Gala, where Colonel
David Sutherland of Dixon Center at Easter Seals will be the keynote speaker.

Mike and Carlos Boettcher are the only reporters devoted to full time coverage
of U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. They began their embed with U.S.
forces in August 2008.
