Singing Competition Winners Share Love of Jovani Fashions

This season's winner of The Voice and past winners of American Idol have all been seen in the world-renowned fashion house's designs

LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On the night of June 18(th), NBC crowned the winner of its fourth season of The Voice, Danielle Bradbery. What carried her to the win? Fantastic covers of Patty Loveless, Pam Tillis, and Sara Evans songs, of course. However, she could have had a confidence boost from wearing a fantastic ensemble from the Jovani fashion house. Jovani--recognized around the world for designer, couture wedding dresses and elegant, flirty prom gowns--was proudly represented when Ms. Bradbery chose to wear style 751. The gorgeous short dress features intricate, almost butterfly-like beading and a sweetheart neckline that made Danielle look sophisticated but not old-fashioned. This isn't the only time that one of Jovani's short and formal dresses have been spotted on a successful reality TV singing competition performer. American Idol runner-up Katherine McPhee rocked the same design on Smash a few weeks prior.

Fantasia Barrino, the American Idol winner who recently released Side Effects of You, was also spotted in Jovani this month. Rocking Jovani style 6771, Fantasia looked glorious in the long amethyst gown. With a cropped hairdo and diamond accessories that bring out the intricate beadwork in architectural shapes, Ms. Barrino looked like she should be wearing another tiara in addition to her figurative Idol crown. Jovani and its many fans have noted that this long dress, with a train and flattering tulle underlay, would be perfect for attending weddings as an honored guest, like the mother of the bride for instance.

The following season's winner, Carrie Underwood, has also been seen in Jovani gowns, most notably when hosting the CMA Awards and on VH1 Unplugged. Her gown looked resplendent at the CMA Awards, a perfect look for television because of its gorgeous sparkling embellishments and form-fitting shape. The Unplugged Jovani dress was also a strong statement piece. Black and structured, it was the perfect look for a revealing and powerful night where Ms. Underwood performed some of her biggest hits.

Love for Jovani isn't just restricted to American shores; Alexandra Burke, winner of the fifth season of the British version of TheX Factor, wore a shimmering Jovani gown to a special benefit inducting Chaka Khan into the Apollo Hall of Fame. Ms. Burke looked fierce in the short black number with luxurious beading when she sang "Do You Love What You Feel?" in tribute to the soul legend. The form-flattering dress paired with dark leggings perfectly exemplify why Jovani has garnered acclaim as a performance wardrobe designer in equal esteem to its fabulous prom and wedding designs.
