Hub Network Introduces Two New Series: "Wizards vs Aliens" and "SheZow"
Original Episodes of The Daytime Emmy® Nominated "The Aquabats! Super Show!," As Well As "Pound Puppies" and "Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters" Return
LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting in June, two new series and three returning series will premiere on Hub Network, a destination for kids and their families. The new series include the popular U.K. adventure-fantasy series "Wizards vs Aliens" from Executive Producer Russell T Davies ("Doctor Who") and "SheZow," an Australian series featuring a 12-year-old boy who inherits the superhero persona of his deceased aunt -- the kick-butt, FEMALE superhero SheZow! Additionally, Hub Network will feature original episodes of "The Aquabats! Super Show!" from Awesome Forces Productions, as well as "Pound Puppies" and "Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters," both from Hasbro Studios.

On Saturday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m. ET, two all-new, back-to-back episodes of "Pound Puppies" will premiere. New episodes will continue to air in the show's regular time period, Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Later that same day, on Saturday, June 1 at 12:30 p.m. ET, "SheZow" will make its network debut.
Also on Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. ET, "The Aquabats! Super Show!" returns with new episodes.
That night, Saturday, June 1 at 7 p.m. ET, "Wizards vs Aliens" premieres with two back-to-back episodes. New episodes will air weekly on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. ET.
"Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters" returns with all-new episodes on Friday, June 21 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

"Pound Puppies" (Hub Network Original Series - Animated)
The "pup-ular" half-hour series, produced by Hasbro Studios, follows a gang of heartwarming animal shelter dogs dedicated to finding loving homes for their fellow pets. Their motto: "A pup for every person and a person for every pup!" The all-star cast includes Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace"), Yvette Nicole Brown ("Community"), Betty White ("Hot in Cleveland"), Michael Rapaport ("Prison Break"), John DiMaggio ("Futurama") and Alanna Ubach (Legally Blonde). Airs: Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. ET
"SheZow" (Hub Network Acquired Series - Animated)
Twelve-year-old Guy is an extreme dude who inherits the power ring of his deceased aunt - the amazing FEMALE superhero SheZow! The ring gives him villain-battling super powers, but was meant to be worn by a girl and the result is absolutely she-larious! Created and written by Obie Scott Wade ("Julius & Friends"). Loris Kramer Lunsford ("Johnny Test"), Jason Netter ("Wolverine and the X-Men"), Wade, Gillian Carr ("Flea-bitten"), Huoi Seong Low, and Brenda Wooding all serve as executive producers. The half-hour sci-fi series from acclaimed writer-producers Russell T Davies ("Doctor Who") and Phil Ford ("Doctor Who") follows the adventures of two 16-year-old school boys, Tom (Scott Haran, "Upstairs Downstairs") and his best friend Benny (Percelle Ascott, "Mandem on the Wall"), who battle to save Earth from the Nekross, an alien race determined to drain the planet of its most precious resource -- magic. While Tom lives a seemingly ordinary life with his dad and grandmother, he hides a deep secret: his family members are wizards. "Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters" (Hub Network Original Series - Animated)
This half-hour, animated action-fantasy series follows the adventures of Ray, a young hero who possesses the rare ability to befriend and duel alongside fantastical creatures from a parallel dimension. "Kaijudo: Clash of the Duel Masters" features the voice talents of popular actors Scott Wolf ("Party of Five"), Freddy Rodriguez ("Ugly Betty"), John DiMaggio ("Futurama"), Oded Fehr (The Mummy) and Phil LaMarr ("Mad TV").
