Music Madness Week To Feature John Lennon Bus, Live Music At Aussie's Bar And Grill March 14th - 18th

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AMFM Magazine has partnered with Weare78704.com and Elevated Minds Music to bring March Music Madness Week to Aussie's Beachbar and Grill in Austin, Texas March 14th - 18th.

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will be on premise conducting live interviews with Kenny Loggins, The Flaming Lips, Jesse Dayton, and others. The bus, a rolling state of the art recording studio made possible by an agreement with Yoko Ono Lennon, is being brought to the party by Luke George and the Lowell George/Little Feat Legacy Project.

In its 8th year, the event will feature almost 40 bands over 4 days. Headliners will include Organica Music Group's Margo Rey, who will sing her hit "Let the Rain," which reached number 17 on the Adult Contemporary Chart last year. Organica Music Group released Ms. Rey's highly anticipated CD, "Habit", which features her new Top 20 charting single "Between Us," as well as her recent hit song "Let the Rain." The latter, co-written by Ms. Rey and the legendary John Oates, remained on the charts for an astonishing 21 weeks, making it Billboard's "Hot Shot Debut" and additionally earning her kudos in the magazine's "Bubbling Under" column. The duo also teamed up on the stunning cut "Saturn Returns." Oates sings on both tracks and he provides an ideal complement to Rey's powerful yet nuanced vocals. Listeners closest to it claim that Habit is its own brand of sonic luxury and Rey emerges as a force of nature - in heels no less. Ms. Rey will take the stage at 6:00 p.m. March 14th.

3x Grammy Nominees The Tortilla Factory will release their new single "C'mon" at Aussie's March 14th at 2:00. The single features Paul Wall, T. lopez and San Antonio Spurs Stephen Johnson. The Tortilla Factory features Alfredo Antonio Guerrero as lead singer, son of the legendary Tejano icon Tony "Ham" Guerrero, who brought the Tortilla Factory to prominence in the 70s, selling out dance halls from Texas to to California.

Aussie's, one of the top sports bars in Austin, boasts live volleyball tournaments year-round, and was voted one of the top sports bars in Austin.
