Fans Clamour for Beyoncé Tickets Following a Show-Stopping Super Bowl Performance

Fans Clamour for Beyoncé Tickets Following a Show-Stopping Super Bowl Performance

LONDON, February 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --

- The pop diva's Mrs. Carter tour is set to land on UK shores in April 2013

- Interest in tour tickets spikes following dazzling Super Bowl halftime performance

- Tickets available on the online ticket marketplace StubHub.co.uk

Hot on the heels of an explosive performance at the Super Bowl, performing a set that
confirmed her status as today's preeminent R&B and pop superstar, Beyonce has announced a
slew of spring tour dates for Ireland and the UK. The "Mrs. Carter" tour, which takes its
title from husband Jay-Z's (a.k.a. Shawn Carter) surname, is set to kick off on 26 April
in Birmingham, wrapping up at Dublin's O2 on 12 May.

A promotional video directed by Jonas Akerlund debuted online recently, featuring a
corset-clad Beyonce with members of her tour crew in regal attire, set to a soundtrack of
new music. "B", as she's often affectionately known by fans, also recently released new
material with her former Destiny's Child bandmates, with whom she performed at the Super
Bowl in New Orleans.

The glitzy halftime show led to a massive spike in online searches for Beyonce
tickets. Searches grew exponentially almost immediately following the Super Bowl
broadcast, jumping even further once tour dates were announced. The singer also generated
a healthy dose of press recently following a minor lip-syncing scandal at President Barack
Obama's inauguration at the tail-end of January. However, her appearance at the Super Bowl
- and the glowing reviews that followed her set - has seemingly erased any public
questioning of her innate vocal talents.

Beyonce's tour includes stops at London's O2 Arena on 29 and 30 April, and 1 and 3
May, before moving onto Manchester and ending at Dublin's O2 on 12 May.

The online ticket marketplace StubHub.co.uk [http://www.stubhub.co.uk ] expects a high
degree of interest in the Mrs. Carter tour, with site traffic increasing in kind once
tickets are released to the public on the morning of 23 February.
