Skylar Grey's Music Video For "C'mon Let Me Ride," Featuring Eminem Debuts Today And Single Now Available Through All Digital Retailers

Debut Album DON'T LOOK DOWN Due Spring 2013 from KIDinaKORNER/Interscope

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The highly anticipated music video for Skylar Grey's new single "C'mon Let Me Ride," featuring Eminem debuts today with the release of the track available now through all digital retailers. "C'mon Let Me Ride," produced by Alex Da Kid and mixed by both Eminem and Alex, is Grey's first single from her hotly anticipated debut album Don't Look Down, due Spring 2013 from KIDinaKORNER/Interscope.

The 13-time GRAMMY winning producer, songwriter and rapper Eminem is an executive producer of the debut album from five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer songwriter Skylar Grey and he also appears in the music video for "C'mon Let Me Ride." Shot in Eminem's hometown of Detroit, the music video is set in a trailer park, an ironic setting with unexpected characters.

"I hope people enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed making it," said Grey. "For anyone who didn't already figure out how sarcastic the song is, the video certainly makes it clear. Em definitely brought his sense of humor to it and so did I. Take a close look at the scene where I'm wearing a very girly sexy polka-dot outfit because it's not likely to happen again."

Grey is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is responsible for co-writing some of the most memorable songs to light up the Billboard Hot 100 and iTunes sales charts, totaling more than 25 million singles globally. Grey co-wrote the biggest selling single of 2010: Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie," which earned her two GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Song and Best Rap Song of the Year. She also co-wrote and appeared on Dr. Dre's "I Need A Doctor," which she performed alongside Dre and Eminem on the 2011 GRAMMY Awards telecast and for which she was nominated for two GRAMMY Awards. This past January, Grey released The Buried Sessions of Skylar Grey, which featured special acoustic performances by Grey of three songs she wrote and produced: the original demo of "Love the Way Part III" (the original "Love the way You Lie" made popular by Eminem and Rihanna), "Coming Home Part II" (originally performed by Diddy-Dirty Money) and "Words" (originally "Words I Never Said," performed by Lupe Fiasco).
