Australian-born DJ MODIUM, Currently Heating Up the Dancefloor, Issues Debut EP Featuring Remixes of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Usher

NEW YORK, Sept. 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- MODIUM, an Australian-born DJ and producer based out of Singapore, has finalized the official release date of his much-anticipated debut EP. On October 1(st), 2012 "MODIUM The Remixes" will be available exclusively on Beatport, and only later to be released to stores worldwide.

In his debut EP the talented newcomer to the EDM scene showcases his strong electro and house roots. He has given his signature "electrified" MODIUM treatment to Billboard No.1 songs including: Justin Bieber's hit single "As Long As You Love Me" (Island Records); Katy's Perry's "Wide Awake" (Capitol Records); and Usher's "Euphoria" (RCA Records). He has transformed them into feet-thumping remixes that are moving dance floors globally, thus making his mark in Asia's emerging EDM industry.

It was from Melbourne's world-renowned underground club scene that MODIUM got his taste for house music. His career began with humble beginnings of hosting college parties where he quickly developed a unique sound that is now synonymous with big room clubs. MODIUM has played alongside several global artists such as Taio Cruz, The Scissor Sisters, and has anchored with Hed Kandi DJ's of Ministry of Sounds over the past year.
