--Multi-Platform Contract Renews Access to Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials and Adds Access to Digital Download Essentials Service--

PORTLAND, Ore., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced that Phase 4 Films, a client of Rentrak's Box Office Essentials service, has renewed its OnDemand Essentials contract and expanded the relationship to include a subscription to Digital Download Essentials, the leading performance reporting and auditing service for Internet Video-on-Demand (iVOD) and Electronic Sell-Through (EST) content.

Phase 4 Films is one of the leading full service independent studios in the U.S. and Canada and distributes a catalog of over 1,000 titles, creating one of the largest independent libraries in North America.
