Harmony Lounge's red carpet charity music event to raise public awareness of art & music in Deep Ellum

DALLAS, May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday May 25th, with over 150 people in attendance, Harmony Lounge Bar & Grill, a music venue set to open in Fall 2012, is holding a red carpet, live music concert to raise awareness of the historic value of Deep Ellum. The concert, held at Crowne Plaza Hotel on Elm Street, starts at 9pm and will feature some of Dallas' finest local musicians.

The company plans to restore the historical significance that is currently neglected and prove to the city that people want Deep Ellum to thrive again. "When we neglect Deep Ellum, we neglect our city's historic legacy." says Britt. "That's why I'm glad the Charter School is opening. Our children should read about Deep Ellum in their history books because it's been a major contributor to Dallas' current art and music scene."

Britt plans to donate 100% of proceeds to the new Charter School in Deep Ellum, Uplift Education. The May 25th event will be Harmony's first live music concert and promises to start the beginning of a new era in Deep Ellum that brings upscale, world-class standards of Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York into the area.
