CollegeHumor Announces "Coffee Town" Movie

CollegeHumor Announces "Coffee Town" Movie

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CollegeHumor Media, an operating business of IAC (NASDAQ: IACI), announced today the production of its first theatrical motion picture Coffee Town, written and to be directed by Brad Copeland ("Arrested Development," "My Name Is Earl"). This will be Brad Copeland's debut as a feature director.

The film, which stars Glenn Howerton ('It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'), Steve Little ('Eastbound & Down'), Ben Schwartz ('House of Lies') and Josh Groban ('Crazy, Stupid, Love'), will begin principal photography this February in Los Angeles. The film will be produced by CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen.

Coffee Town is a modern-day workplace comedy for today's job-hopping generation, focusing on Will (played by Howerton) and his two thirty-something friends who band together when their freeloading existence is threatened.

CollegeHumor will finance and produce the R-rated comedy, building upon its decade-long track record of creating and marketing irreverent comedy content. No release date is set.

"Brad has a sharp yet universal comic sensibility and we're confident he's going to be a fantastic director," said Van Veen. "Coupled with the amazing cast we have so far, we're incredibly enthusiastic about this project."
