Destination Debuts New Song Written and Performed by Bangles' Lead Singer Susanna Hoffs
SOUTH WALTON, Fla., Dec. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- "Sand and turquoise water forever" is how visitors to South Walton most often describe the destination's 26 miles of pristine beach nestled along Northwest Florida's Gulf Coast. And now that sentiment has been put to music, courtesy of internationally renowned singer/songwriter Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles. Titled "This is the Place," the upbeat song will be officially unveiled during the Bangles' live performance as part of the 30A Songwriters Festival, to be held January 13-15, 2012 at multiple venues throughout South Walton.

Now in its third year, the 30A Songwriters Festival is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), presented by Visit South Walton and sponsored by Seaside and 30A.com. The event is hugely popular with music lovers, due to the caliber and variety of talent and the intimate venues in which they perform.
In addition to the Bangles, this year's line-up includes Rodney Crowell, Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls, Joan Osborne, Miles Zuniga of Fastball, Matthew Sweet, Sam Bush Band, David Wilcox, Jeffrey Steele, Shawn Mullins, Jim Lauderdale and Mary Gauthier. Most venues are intimate listening rooms, with headliners performing in outdoor amphitheaters.
