Fans gear up for two very rare appearances with the entire original group featuring Juno-nominated U.G.O. Crew on December 20, 2011 in NYC and February 3, 2012 in LA

NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Digable Planets and U.G.O. Crew will be releasing a joint album from their 2010 Cool Like That Tour on January 31st, 2012. The album includes classic Digable tracks as well as the crossover styling of U.G.O. Crew, who first caught the attention of Craig "Doodlebug" Irving of Digable Planets two years ago when he asked U.G.O. to join the band on tour. The album also marks U.G.O. Crew's American debut.

Two-Show Reunion Dates Announced - It's been 7 years since Ladybug Mecca (a.k.a. LadybugMek) performed with the original Digable Planets, and her upcoming special NYC and LA appearances with the group as well as featured artist U.G.O. Crew are going to be memorable events. Lady Makka (a.k.a. Madarocka) who has stepped in as the group's MC since 2005 will also be joining the trio on stage.

Following the reunion shows, U.G.O. will be heading to LA to record their next album and EP with producer Ron "Amen Ra" Lawrence whose Hitmen Team has masterminded hits for Beyonce, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Notorious B.I.G., Ice Cube, and Diddy, among others.

U.G.O. will be releasing their first American EP with Millennium Men/ Capitol/ EMI Music on February 14, 2012, with a full length album slated for release in Summer 2012.
