A Bone-Chilling Fall Season Ahead as Gaiam and Travel Channel Release Two Ghostly DVD Titles

NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaiam, Inc., a leading producer of lifestyle media, announced today the release of Ghost Adventures Season 3 and Ghost Stories Seasons 1 and 2 in September under its exclusive home video license agreement with Travel Channel.

Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures Season 3

Paranormal investigators Zak Bagans and Nick Groff, along with equipment technician Aaron Goodwin, visit the nation's most haunted destinations in order to conduct ghost investigations. The crew travels to ten locations, including Clovis Wolfe Manor, which averaged one death per day until it closed in 1997, and Prospect Place, a stop along the Underground Railroad where many slaves met with an unfortunate end. Before any expedition, the investigators in Ghost Adventures Season 3 complete a walkthrough, interview locals and plan their strategy. When night falls, the trio is locked inside alone from dusk 'til dawn. The crew uses high-tech scientific equipment, taunting techniques on evil or demonic entities and a keen physical sensitivity to the paranormal, in an effort to prove the existence of the supernatural. This three-disc set has a total run time of 645 minutes with an SRP of $24.98. Street date: September 6, 2011.

Travel Channel'sGhost Stories Seasons 1 and 2

In this series, bone-chilling stories will take viewers to the very places where terror lives. Ghost Stories Seasons 1 and 2 recounts the most intriguing and terrifying tales of the undead that are not for the faint of heart, including the story of a drowned nun whose ghost haunts the beaches of Galveston, Texas. Reenactments, eyewitness interviews, historian analysis, along with personal video and audio footage bring to life the puzzling stories that have haunted many people. This two-disc set has a total run time of 384 minutes with an SRP of $19.98. Street date: September 6, 2011.

Each new DVD release will haunt stores and online wherever DVDs are sold.
