Community Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Brand-New Rave Cinemas 15 at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza

Media "Sneak Peak" tours on Tuesday, June 28; grand opening on Wednesday, June 29

LOS ANGELES, June 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The newest movie theater in Los Angeles - Rave Cinemas 15 at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza - is ready to open its doors to the public on Tuesday, June 28 with the premiere of Transformers - Dark of the Moon.

Formerly the Magic Johnson Theaters, the site has undergone a multi-million dollar overhaul since closing its doors last year. The state-of-the-art theaters now feature such deluxe amenities as stadium seating, digital sound, 3-D projection and Rave Extreme: the Big Screen Experience. The renovation is a key component of the $30 million transformation of Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza.

A grand opening celebration will feature a performance by members of the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, along with appearances by Rave executives, government officials and community leaders.
