Sony/ATV songwriter Tito el Bambino Honored as Songwriter of the Year
MIAMI, March 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony/ATV Discos Music Publishing was named ASCAP Latin Music Publisher of the Year for the ninth consecutive year and Sony/ATV songwriter Tito el Bambino won the prestigious Songwriter of the Year award at the 19th Annual ASCAP Latin Music Awards held on March 24 in Miami Beach, FL.

The black tie gala honored the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP's most performed songs in Latin Music of 2010. Sony/ATV had a total of 29 ASCAP charting songs in 2010 and 13 Sony/ATV songwriters received ASCAP Latin Music Awards including Enrique Iglesias, Mario Domm (Camila), Cristina Barba, Emile Kojide, Eugene Victor Doo Belley, Jean Ze Bella, Los Mambo Kingz (Wilmer & Xavier Semper), Maria Bernal, Rafael Pina, Rafael Esparza-Ruiz, Roy Tavare and Wise.
