CYBERJAYA, Malaysia, March 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cyberview Sdn. Bhd., landowner and development mastermind of Cyberjaya, Malaysia's premier address for information, communication and technology (ICT) and innovation companies, gave visitors to CeBIT 2011 an insight to the business and investment opportunities available in the Malaysian cybercity together with a delegation of ICT entrepreneurs based and nurtured there.

Cyberview's SME tenants, which are based in Cyberview's own SME Technopreneur Centres, include Axon 313 - a global specialist in turnkey multi-projection solutions for varied industrial applications including simulation, entertainment and broadcast in Europe, USA, Far East and Middle East markets; and Select-TV - a major global hospitality interactive TV and Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) technology provider, with solutions and technology deployed internationally in hotels, cruise liners, and hospitals.
Axon 313's creativity and innovative solutions have earned them international opportunities, including a shopping mall in Berlin. The company signed two memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with two European partners at CeBIT 2011, marking the first major business coup of the Malaysian delegation there this year.
The two signatory companies were PaceBlade Technology - an innovator of mobile TabletPC solutions, offering the next generation of professional mobile devices; and Screen-Tech - a projection screen manufacturing company with proprietary "opalized" acrylic projector screens under the ST-Professional brand.
Under the terms of the agreement, Axon 313 will develop projects in-line with Screen-Tech and Pace Blade Technology's specifications, while the two signatories will participate in Axon 313's research and development processes.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Sabri Abdul Rahman, Senior Trade Commissioner for the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and Mr. Rashid Mat, GM of Business, Corporate Communications and Planning for Cyberview Sdn Bhd.
Cyberjaya has experienced an exponential growth of 70 per cent in the number of companies since 2006 and this figure continues to increase progressively.
In 2010 Cyberview attracted a total investment value of MYR3.19 billion (euro 750 million), representing more than a third of the cybercity's total investment value since its inception. This was also due in part to the successful development of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), Shell and Hewlett-Packard's (HP) regional operations centres, the MSC Malaysia Knowledge Workers Development Institute, SME Technopreneur Centre 3, residential, institutional and enterprise developments.
For 2011, Cyberview already has MYR2.52 billion (euro 592 million) worth of developments in the pipeline, which will be achieved through further land sales of enterprise, commercial, institutional and residential space. Cyberview is implementing several initiatives to create a livelier and more vibrant environment which will see 3.21 million square feet of enterprise space being built by Cyberview and other stakeholders in the cybercity in 2011.
