Tampa Area's Jessica Santiago Named a Finalist in Si TV's Model Latina NYC Competition

Jessica Santiago, a 20-year-old model and nursing student from Bradenton, has been selected as a finalist on the third season of Si TV's stylish reality/competition series, Model Latina NYC.

Judges chose Santiago and two other women, Nashlly Sokoli of Newark, NJ and Elora Perez of Rosedale, NY, as finalists from a field of 15 gorgeous Latinas competing for stardom and fortune in the world's fashion capital -- New York City.

Model Latina NYC premiered on Aug. 2 and will conclude with the naming of Santiago, Sokoli or Perez as this year's Model Latina on Monday, Oct. 25 at 9 p.m. ET. The winner will receive $25,000 in cash, a contract with Q Model Management (a premiere modeling agency with offices in New York and Los Angeles) as well as a hosting opportunity at Si TV.

The show has provided a springboard to success for past Model Latina winners. Season one and two winners Jessica Caban and Codie Cabral are now gracing magazines, appearing in television advertisements, fashion shows and movies, and are living every model's dream. Season one winner Caban signed a contract with L'Oreal and did fashion spreads in magazines, a television commercial for Chase and a photo shoot for Dreamwear, Inc. She also won Best Actress recognition at this year's Boston International Film and Hoboken Film Festivals. Season two winner Cabral was featured in recent Reebok and Sephora campaigns and has appeared in television commercials for Spike TV and LXTV.
