Hispanic Heritage Celebration to Feature Musical Traditions
Harrisburg - Artists will participate in the 2010 Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the State Museum auditorium, 300 North St., Harrisburg.
"Heritage, Diversity, Integrity and Honor: The Renewed Hope of America!" is the theme of this year's event which is intended to teach and underscore the diversity of musical expression from different Latin American countries.
The Department of State joins with the Departments of Aging, Banking, Community and Economic Development, General Services, Revenue, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, and the Governor's Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs to sponsor the event.
