Veteran Media Executive Joins Automated Media Services Advisory Board
Larry Blasius to Provide Counsel on Airtime Sales Strategy and Negotiations
ALLENDALE, N.J., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Automated Media Services (AMS) announced today that Larry Blasius has joined the company in an advisory role, drawing on years of experience appraising the value of television advertising and negotiating partnerships with media buying groups. He will join fellow advisors Steve Grubbs, Nick Loria, and Willard Bishop in advising the company on the rollout of 3GTv Networks(TM), the first form of out-of-home television. The 3GTv(TM) platform solves many of the measurement problems facing retail media, while providing advertisers the ability to influence shoppers at the point of decision.
Mr. Blasius most recently served as Executive Vice President, Director, Negotiations, for MAGNA Global USA, one of the world's largest media services firms, leveraging more than $3 billion annually in client expenditures. Since then, he has provided consulting services for various broadcast and cable television initiatives with companies like ABC, AETN's History en Espanol, and digital entity, theknot.com.
Prior to joining MAGNA, Blasius senior level positions at TN Media and Busch Media Group, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch. He began his career as an analyst in the Media Information and Analysis Division of Ted Bates. Blasius subsequently joined BBDO where he served as VP Associate Director in the National Broadcast Buying Group.
"Few people in our industry possess Larry's deep understanding of the broadcast television business. His insight into the needs of media agencies and the clients they serve will be invaluable to the company as we introduce 3GTv as a solution to the significant challenges facing advertisers," said AMS CEO, Bob Wolinsky.
"The remarkable thing about 3GTv(TM) is that, in a very unique way, it reinforces the brand awareness created by 'pre-store' advertising, influencing the brand decision, in the store, where it matters most," said Larry Blasius, advisor to AMS. "For marketers, 3GTv is the closest thing to having a sales person in the store aisle. I have yet to see another in-store medium like it."
